A little body MOT — movement, touch, release & deep restoration

Join Tiia and Joseph Thomas for a unique Yoga & Massage Immersion, created from their shared experience as former professional dancers, movement practitioners and yoga teachers. Joseph is also a trained massage therapist.

Over many years of working with the body, movement and touch, Tiia and Joe have gathered a wealth of knowledge, along with countless little tips, techniques and exercises that can help release tension, create space and bring greater awareness to the body.

This immersion is a beautiful blend of somatic movement, yoga, breathwork, self-manipulation, partner stretches, pressure points and massage — offering you the opportunity to slow down, listen to your body and explore sensation in a deeper way.

The session begins with self-manipulation and breathwork, helping you connect with the body, relax the mind and awaken awareness of touch, pressure and sensation in the skin and muscles.

We then move into a short, dynamic yoga flow, opening up space in specific areas of the body, activating the muscles and preparing you for deeper exploration.

From here, the pace begins to slow. We move into partner stretches and self-release techniques, using pressure points, touch and gentle manipulation to explore areas of tension. We then settle into longer, yin-inspired postures, finding stillness and allowing the body time to soften.

Throughout the practice, Joe will offer hands-on massage and individually tailored adjustments, helping you release tension and deepen into each posture. Tiia will guide you through the movement and breath, offering clear guidance and encouraging you to explore your own sensations and responses.

Think of this immersion as a little Body MOT — a chance to pause, pay attention and check in with what your body actually needs. It is an opportunity to learn more about your own body, take a deeper dive into sensation and discover simple tools you can continue to use beyond the session.

With movement, touch, breath and stillness, we invite the body to release, restore and promote a sense of healing from within.

Expect to leave feeling revived, relaxed, lighter and rebalanced — with a little more understanding of your own body.
